Our process
Three clear stages, from first sketch to fresh coat of paint
A renovation shouldn't take over your life. We map the whole job out so you always know what's next, from the first site visit to the final walk-through.
Stage 1
Getting to know you
We visit, talk through how you use the space, your budget, and what you want to change. We work to your architect's plans or design it from scratch, then measure up so we can put together an accurate quote. No cost, no obligation.

Stage 2
Design, selections and consent
We finalise the design and you make your selections, right down to finishes and fixtures, so the price we reach is genuinely fixed. Where structural work, plumbing, or weathertightness is involved, we handle the building consent, with a preliminary contract covering our council liaison.

Stage 3
Sign on and build
You sign your NZ Certified Builders contract, which protects both of us and locks in your start date and a guaranteed completion date. Then we manage the whole build, from demolition to the final coat, with one point of contact and weekly updates.

Bathrooms run 3–5 weeks on average; kitchens 4–6 weeks; whole-home renovations 3–6 months depending on scope and consent. You'll get a fixed completion date in your contract, and if we miss it, we pay you $100 per day we're late.
