pre-purchase inspections

Thinking of buying? We assess the property end-to-end and hand you a full written report with photos, findings and clear recommendations. Know exactly what you're buying before you commit.

pre-sale inspections

Selling soon? Get ahead of buyer objections with a full report on your property's condition before it hits the market. Fix what matters, price with confidence.

pre-settlement inspection

Buying a new build? We walk through before you settle to make sure the work is finished properly and nothing's been missed — right up to the day you get the keys.

WHEN WE run your inspection

OUR PROCESS

  • Get in touch with your property details and what you're after — full pre-purchase, pre-sale, or a pre-settlement walkthrough. We'll confirm timing, scope and pricing before anything starts.

For time-critical situations (sale conditions, settlement deadlines), let us know — we'll work to fit your timeline wherever possible.

  • We inspect the property thoroughly in line with NZS 4306:2005 — interior, exterior, roof space, under-floor area, services, grounds and outbuildings.

Non-invasive moisture readings are taken around high-risk areas like showers, windows, doors and decks. Anything we can't access is clearly noted in the report so nothing's hidden.

INSPECT YOUR PROPERTY TODAY

Let’s take a closer look at your home

Whether you're buying, selling, or settling — let's make sure there are no surprises.

Why Choose Us?

Most building inspectors are ex-builders. We're actual builders — still on the tools, still up to date with current NZ building code, materials and methods.

That matters when you're spending hundreds of thousands on a house. A good inspection isn't a checklist. It's a trained eye that knows what should be there, what is there, and what's going to cost you down the track.

Every report is prepared by a Licensed Building Practitioner, compliant with NZ Standard NZS 4306:2005, and delivered in plain English so you can act on it — fast.

no conflict, no upsell

We're builders, so yes — we can fix the things we find. But our inspection service is kept separate. We give you an honest report. What you do with it is up to you. Use us, use another builder, use no-one. There's no pressure and no hidden agenda.
