HOW we work
We believe construction should be straightforward. Clear planning, honest communication, and reliable execution. From start to finish.

We meet on site to understand your vision, assess the space, and give you a preliminary quote. Honest advice, no obligation.

You receive a detailed scope, timeline, and budget. Once agreed, we sign the contract and arrange Contract Works Insurance. You'll get access to BuilderTrend so you can track every stage of your build in real time.

Our team manages every aspect of the build with structured quality checks at every stage. You'll have a dedicated Project Manager, weekly meetings, and monthly financial updates — so you always know where things stand.

We back ourselves to deliver on the date in your contract. If we are late, we pay you $100 for every day we are overdue.

Finer Builds is a Māori owned construction company rooted in the Waikato, built on a simple belief that quality and care should never be compromised. Founded by AJ and Tanya, and anchored by Paul. We bring over 40 years of experience, and genuine pride and accountability to every project we take on. From new builds to renovations, we build for people first.
